How to Make Chantilly Cream
Step 1
Pour the chilled heavy cream into a large mixing bowl.

Using a sharp knife, split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Add both the seeds and the bean to the cream for maximum flavor.
Step 3
Sift the powdered sugar into the bowl. Using a hand mixer at high speed, whip the mixture until soft peaks form.
Step 4
Use the Chantilly cream immediately as a topping or filling. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
